Upway Global Recognised for Corporate Social Responsibility, Awarded “Caring Company” Mark for 3-Consecutive-Year

On 20 May, the “Caring Company Partnership Expo” was grandly held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. Upway Global was invited to attend and was once again awarded the “Caring Company” logo and certificate, in recognition of the group’s active fulfilment of corporate social responsibility. This marks the third consecutive year that Upway Global has received this distinction.

Launched by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), the “Caring Company Scheme” aims to foster strategic partnerships between the business sector and social service organisations, encouraging corporations to integrate social responsibility into their operations and jointly build an inclusive and caring community.

Since its establishment in 2010, Upway Global has regarded social responsibility as a core mission and obligation of corporate development. Over the past 9 years, the spirit of public welfare has become deeply embedded in the company’s culture, and its participation in and support for social-welfare initiatives have never ceased.

In the past year, while focusing on business development, Upway Global has also actively taken part in charitable activities in both mainland China and Hong Kong. These efforts span areas such as elderly care and education. Examples include participation in the “Filial Piety and Love for All 2018” charity initiative, sponsorship of the “Walk Together for Charity” fundraising campaign, and launching the “Walking You to School” support program.
